DENTAL CLINICIANS
Amy, RDA, COA – Clinician
Amy was born in Colorado and raised in Seattle. She studied nursing and dance before she decided to switch gears into the dental industry. She worked for an endodontist and general dentist before moving to New York City and joining Dr. Lemchen and Dr. Salzer in 2005. She is passionate about delivering smiles to people.
Fun fact: Amy enjoys traveling and snowboarding in her free time!
Andrea, RDH – Clinician
Languages: Hungarian and understands Russian
Andrea is a proud Hungarian. She was a dental assistant for over eight years before she started working with Dr. Lemchen in 2007. She is a graduate of the New York City College of Technology, where she studied dental hygiene.
Fun fact: She was an elementary school teacher in her home country.
Basit - Clinician
Basit was a dental surgeon in Karachi Pakistan. After moving to NYC three years ago, he fell in love with orthodontics. He enjoys reading books and is very very into fashion.
Fun fact: he loves being in front of the camera and is an adrenaline junkine
Bogumila – 3D Lab Specialist
Languages: Polish
Bogumila is originally from Poland. She has been working for Dr. Lemchen and Dr. Salzer since 2005. Her orthodontic expertise includes various CAD software such as the 3Shape OrthoAnalyzer, Netfabb, EasyRX 3D, 3D printing, aligner design and manufacturing.
Fun fact: She enjoys taking her two Maltese dogs, Misty and Charlie, for walks on Rockaway Beach.
Cindy, RDH – Clinician
Cindy is a real New Yorker and grew up in Stuytown. When she was fourteen, she knew she wanted to become a dental hygienist.
Fun fact: She has been working for Dr. Lemchen since she was 21!
Diana T- Records Clinician
Born and raised in the Empire State, she was born in none other than Queens, New York. After spending time in records, she realized her love for radiology.
Fun Fact: She is a dog mom of a beautiful 4-year-old Yorkie.
Diana U. – RDH Clinician
Languages: Spanish
Diana is originally from Medellín, Colombia and studied psychology at the University of Antioquia. When she moved to New York City, she fell in love with the world of orthodontics. Diana feels proud to work for Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics as they’re always striving for the best. Diana is committed to continuous learning each day to ensure patients get the best possible treatment.
Dianne - Clinician
Dianne is originally from Guyana, but she’s been living in New York for the majority of her life. Dianne has been working as an orthodontic clinician for over five years. During her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, traveling or simply cosying up in bed with a good book.
Fun fact: Dianne studied Fashion Marketing in college before entering the Orthodontic world!
Dinora – Sterilization Technician
Languages: Spanish
Dinora is originally from San Salvador, El Salvador, and has lived in New York City for most of her life. She has been working at Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics for twenty years. She attended Hostos Community College. She enjoys hiking by the Pocono Mountains and canoeing.
Fun fact: She’s a huge fan of Forensic Files!
Eva – Sterilization Technician
Languages: Hungarian
Eva was born and raised in Hungary and has been living in New Jersey for over 20 years. Before joining Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics, she studied architecture. She also has experience working in the jewelry, tobacco, restaurant, alcohol, construction, and healthcare industries. She is a proud mom.
Fun fact: She is a phlebotomy technician and can draw blood quickly!
Jen, RDH – Clinician
Languages: Russian, Spanish
Jen is originally from Kiev, Ukraine. She is proud to have been working at Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics for over 20 years, and she can’t wait for the next 30!
Fun fact: She loves to travel, check out new trendy restaurants, and spend time with her adorable son Meir in her free time!
jenna - Clinician
Jenna was born and raised in West Tennessee and studied nursing in college before transitioning to dental. Before moving to New York City, she worked at an orthodontic clinic in Tennessee for three years.
Fun Fact: She is a professional model and photographer and attended yoga school through the Yoga Alliance program for two years in Tennessee.
Jennisa
Jennisa was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She Went to school for nursing. She initially was an X-ray technician, but now she is training to become a dental assistant.
Fun Fact: She is the youngest in the office. Jennisa is very good at photography. Her ultimate Dream job is to be a film director.
john - Orthodontic Lab Assistant
Languages: English and Korean
John majored in criminal justice and human resources at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Before working at Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics, he ran an online business for six years. His hobbies include traveling, cooking, and PC gaming.
Fun fact: John is Kimmie's little brother.
Lisa, RDH – Clinician
Lisa is originally from Vancouver, Canada. She is an honors graduate of New York University. Lisa worked at a private practice in Toronto cleaning teeth and has been working at Dr. Lemchen’s office for almost 25 years.
Fun fact: Lisa enjoys running and traveling and is a HUGE foodie!
Keiko, RDH – Sterilization Technician
Languages: Japanese
Keiko is a registered dental hygienist in the United States and Japan. She received her doctorate in education from Columbia University and joined Dr. Lemchen’s practice in 1992. She has also worked at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Fun fact: She is a certified health education specialist, a U.N. representative for the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (the North American regional office), and she is also a Reiki healer and teacher.
Kimmie, RDH – Clinician
Languages: Korean
Kimmie has worked in the dental industry since 1999 and has worked with Dr. Lemchen and Dr. Salzer since 2007. She initially began her career as a dental technician before becoming a dental hygienist. She has worked with Dr. Lemchen and Dr. Salzer for over ten years and always makes sure that patients feel comfortable and safe while in her care.
Fun fact: Kimmie enjoys watching K-drama and listening to K-pop!
Mr. Lee – Orthodontic Lab Technician
Languages: Korean
Mr. Lee is originally from South Korea and moved to New York in 2001. He has been working for Dr. Lemchen for 17 years. He graduated from Shin Heung College in Korea and worked for the Korean Orthodontic Research Institute in 1987. In 1990, he opened an orthodontic lab making orthodontic retainers and appliances.
Fun fact: Mr. Lee’s daughter is going to be an orthodontist!
Megan – COA Clinician
Languages: Cantonese and Mandarin
Megan is from Scarsdale, New York. She joined Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics in 2018 and is a graduate of the University of Hartford, where she studied biology and chemistry. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano and the cello.
Fun fact: She lived in Hong Kong for a few years.
Reva, RDH – Clinician
Reva grew up near the Boston area and has been working as a dental hygienist since 1977. After meeting Dr. Lemchen in 1993, she moved to New York City to work at his practice. Twenty-four years later, shes still working here. She recently became a grandmother and will show you a picture of her granddaughter if you ask.
Fun fact: Reva believes Dr. Lemchen hired her partly because she was wearing a Star Trek pin with flashing lights during her interview.
Yaqi, RDH – Clinician
Yaqi (pronounced ya-chi) is originally from Brooklyn, New York. She spent four years at Pennsylvania State University studying biology, where she started to become passionate about the world of dentistry.
Fun fact: On days when Yaqi is not tugging at wires or replacing bands, she likes to take long drives out of the city to explore Mother Nature's mountains and fields.
Maggie - Clinician
Languages: Chinese
Maggie graduated from the NYU Dental Assisting Certificate Program in April 2019. She has been working as a dental assistant for over 6 years in general, pediatric, periodontic, prosthodontic, and orthodontic practices. She loves working with great doctors and a team that takes excellent care of each and every patient.
Fun fact: in her spare time, she enjoys traveling and snowboarding.
Andres - COA Clinician
Languages: Spanish
Andres is originally from Quito Ecuador, and began his dental career over 8 years ago as a registered dental assistant. He went to school at the Dental Studies Institute of New Jersey. Andres loves comforting his patients and watching them leave our office with a confident smile. He enjoys playing soccer, the gym, and listening to Spanish music.
Fun fact: He is a big Barcelona football club fan and has a beautiful and active 9-year-old son.
Jasmine - Lab
Technician
Jasmine was born and raised in Brooklyn and went to the New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants. She graduated in 2006 and started off as an orthodontic assistant. She’s been in the dental field for 16 years and wants to become a professor in Orthodontics in the Restorative Dentistry program she graduated from.
Fun fact: Jasmine loves boxing and martial arts!
Reynaldo - Clinician
Languages: Spanish
Reynaldo was a dentist in Venezuela before joining Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics. He graduated from the Universidad del Zulia en Venezuela in 2005. He moved to the USA in 2016 and has been working as an orthodontic assistant ever since. He’s happy to be helping perfect smiles.
Fun fact: He likes going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Brittany – Patient Care Coordinator
Brittany is originally from Delaware. She moved to New York City in 2016. She was a hairstylist for eight years. Today, she feels like she has the perfect job because she loves interacting with people. During her free time, she enjoys trying different foods, exploring the city, and spending time with family.
Fun fact: Brittany ran track in high school.
Joy – HR Coordinator
Joy studied art education and was the director of a private school for 12 years before joining Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics as the HR Coordinator. She enjoys organizing, planning, and problem-solving and takes great pride in making the work environment a happy place for all employees.
Fun fact: Joy is a huge sports fan and absolutely loves her football Sundays!
Jazmin - Patient Care Coordinator
Jazmin is a New York native living in Jamaica, Queens. Before joining the LS Ortho team, she attended NYU Rory Meyers School of Nursing with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. She enjoys traveling to tropical countries and spending time with friends and family.
Fun fact: She loves children and babysits during her free time.
Laura – Patient Care Coordinator
Laura is originally from Syracuse, New York. She studied psychology at the State University of New York Geneseo. She enjoys camping with her family in the Adirondack Mountains and trying new food.
Fun fact: She spent the summer of 2007 working on her dad’s mushroom farm.
Leesa – Practice Manager
Leesa is a true New Yorker, born in Brooklyn, and has lived here her whole life. Before joining Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics, she worked in television and movie production. She has been working at the practice for over 30 years and believes you should never miss an opportunity to make someone smile. She has two grown children, Sam & Leo, and her husband Garry likes to golf.
Fun fact: Leesa has a rescue dog, Bessy, and is passionate about animal adoption.
Lisa – RDH Practice Coordinator
Lisa was born and raised in New York. Before joining Dr. Lemchen and Dr. Salzer’s practice she was a highschool cheerleading coach and worked as a dental hygienist for 17 years. In her free time, Lisa enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her family.
Mae - Financial coordinator
Languages: Tagalog and English
Mae has worked in a variety of offices ranging from couture fashion, import/export, and medical care in Asia and the US with a strong passion for Entrepreneurship.
As a financial coordinator and controller at Lemchen and Salzer Orthodontics, Mae's mission is to learn how the business works in orthodontics with the people who practice it.
Fun fact: Mae loves nature, travelling, cooking and being the comedy goof to her son, Kiann, who loves to laugh.
Marisel, RDH – Patient Support Specialist
Languages: Spanish
Marisel was born in New York and grew up in her native Puerto Rico. This year, she is celebrating 21 years at Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics. She has worked as a dental hygienist, clinical concierge, and educator and is passionate about helping our patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment. She speaks fluent Spanish and also gives language lessons. She enjoys cooking Latin recipes, salsa dancing, yoga, and Pilates in her free time.
Fun fact: One of her favorite Spanish students was Dr Lemchen’s son Andrew.
Romina – Conebeam CT Specialist and Treatment Administrator
Languages: Fluent in Tagalog and proficient in Spanish
Romina has been in the orthodontic field for over 25 years. She’s worked both clinically and administratively in Canada and the U.S. She often advises other offices in 3D imaging and assists with treatment planning and correspondence between the practice, patients, and other practitioners.
Fun fact: Romina’s parents, siblings, children, and pets all have first names that start with the letter “R”! Next time you see her in the office, ask her about it.
Janice - Patient Care Coordinator
Janice grew up in Westchester County in a small town called Tuckahoe. She went to Tuckahoe High School, which was her first experience in an orthodontic office. Prior to entering the dental field, she worked in the only functioning winery in Manhattan for eight years. Janice loves to travel and try new restaurants, and she knows a lot about wine.
Fun fact: Janice has a beautiful teenage daughter whom she loves spending time with.
Diane - Insurance Coordinator & Financial Assistant
Diane is Dr Lemchen’s long-time employee with over 35 years at the practice. She was born, raised, and lived in New York City until she moved to Mount Pocono, PA after having her two children. Being the innovator that he is, Dr Lemchen set her up to work from home long before it was popular, and she still works from home today. Diane has a BFA degree from SVA, enjoys photography and spends time being BeGe (Best Grandma Ever) to her first grandchild, Jackson.
Fun fact: Diane was a rock and roll photographer and has a collection of outstanding images from bands like The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, and Led Zeppelin, to name a few!
